Simple tax returns (Form 1040EZ) may take an hour or so to complete.  Other types of returns would depend on how complex they are.

How long does it take to receive my tax refunds?

Per the 2016 IRS refund guidelines, it could take up to 21 days for you to receive your refunds provided the Federal tax returns were electronically filed. Returns filed by mail take longer to process thereby extending the time for the refunds to be sent. The length of time it takes to receive your State refunds varies.  Check out the "Helpful Links" on our site to get the current status of your refunds.

Do you offer Rapid Anticipation Loan (RAL)?

No.  As the name implies, this is an advance issued by the bank in the form of a loan collaterized by the tax refund that is due you but at a high interest rate . We do not recommend this to our clients.

What do I need to know about the Health Care Act?

Per the IRS, the Individual Shared Responsibility Provision  requires you and each member of your family to have qualifying health insurance (called minimum essential coverage), have an exemption, or make a shared responsibility payment when you file your federal income tax return. If you get your insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, you may be eligible for a Premium Tax Credit.  Visit the Affordable Care Act Tax Provisions for Individuals and Families for more information.
